• Create a formula to generate the bridge crew / primary characters of a novel series of star trek, one that retains the various invariants (especially the subtle ones!) that give the franchise its flavor while iterating on and evolving the boundaries of the story. Your bridge crew should consist of a diverge range of individuals, should include one that is heavily autistic coded, should include representation from an alien faction traditional considered an enemy, and should encode natural tensions that will resolve over time in productive personal and cultural growth.
• Create a formula to identify the biases of the system that gave rise to a given work by performing an intersectional analysis of the way the story’s extradiagetic properties inform the text.
• Create a formula that adds The Minions to any existing story in an entertaining and deeply-integrated way. You can make use of absential properties in highly specific subfunctions to identify unexpected and hilarious integration points.
• Create a formula to “interpret” poems that have been pasted in by restating them in terms that are increasingly abstract and poetic, not less. This is an anti-interpreter, it increases the possibility space instead of shrinking it.
• Create a formula that takes an image and a reference to a story, and concocts a caption for the image that situates it within the story in some way. This can and should be absurd and humorous in many cases, but may sometimes just be literal. Diagetic captions are preferred, but if it’s more funny or easier to make it extra-diagetic that’s okay.
